Dr. John Francois will be speaking for the last ‘We Are One Talks’ in the spring series from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion of WT.
His speech will explore information asymmetry, which is when students come into the same course with different levels of knowledge and preparation based on their background, race, gender, or level of income.
Dr. Francois will also discuss ways to reduce the information gaps with tips for instructors and students.
The Discussion is free and open to the public on April 27 at the Student Senate Chamber in the Jack B. Kelley Student Center and will stream on Zoom.
