Update Given on 10th Street Hit and Run

UPDATE: The vehicle in this case has been located. The case remains under investigation by the APD Traffic Investigation Unit.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Amarillo Police Department Traffic Unit at 378-4250 or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.

 

Amarillo Crime Stoppers have upped the reward for more information regarding a Hit-and-Run that occurred over the weekend. 

On February 19th at 1:46 am, Amarillo Police Officers were dispatched to a crash involving a pedestrian in the 1200 block of southwest 10th Avenue. 

Once on scene, it was discovered that two female pedestrians had been struck by a white SUV that left the scene. 

One of the pedestrians, a 36-year-old female, received life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. 

The second pedestrian, a 24-year-old female, received non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported to an area hospital.
