Juvenile Misconduct under WT UPD Investigation

On the 27th of September, West Texas A&M University Police was made aware of an incident by a school resource officer and requested a detective.

The SRO informed the detective about several juvenile students affected by events during the WT Football game on the 25th.

These students informed the officer that throughout the game, they were touched inappropriately by another juvenile student.

Currently, UPD is reaching out to parents and working out the process for working with juveniles.

This incident does not appear to involve any students or employees from WT.

Remember to take preventative measures with your kids to ensure they understand inappropriate touching, and how to recognize it.
