How To Spot A Vaccine Scam

Coronavirus vaccines are here, and unfortunately so are vaccine-related scams.

The Better Business Bureau has outlined a few tips for spotting the fakers:

1) Do your research – if something seems too good to be true, it usually is.  Check with your doctor or trusted online sources.

2) Ignore a call for immediate action – scammers love to pressure victims into acting now – don’t fall for high-pressure tactics.

3) Double-check the URL – sometimes the website looks official, but the URL is an obvious fake. (Remember that government websites always end with .gov)
