Broadband Connectivity Affordability Expands

Broadband internet is being made more affordable.

A 30-dollar discount is replacing the old broadband benefit program, which you could qualify for if you were at or below the federal poverty line of 135-percent.

That number now moves up to 200-percent of the poverty line.

The FCC is behind the benefits program, allowing 14 billion dollars for people to benefit from in comparison to 3 billion dollars.

People enrolled in the WIC program are also qualified.

AT and T officials say the financial benefit will help people who really need the connectivity get ahead.

You can go to any AT and T or cricket wireless location to enroll in the programs
