Around 8:22, Amarillo Police were called out to the overpass in the 400 block of southwest 34th avenue where 18-year-old Evelyn Jasmine Rios was driving west and lost control of her car causing her to slide into oncoming traffic.
A 17-year-old driver in another vehicle was taken to a local hospital with what is believed to be life-threatening injuries.
